About
Break a Leg Laredo

The Newest Theater Company In Town

Break a Leg Laredo is Laredo’s newest non-profit theatre organization.

Break a Leg Laredo (BALL) began it’s journey in 2015 as the first theatrical company in Laredo to produce a play at the Lake Casa Blanca Amphitheater.  After our first production, BALL continued to collaborate with other Laredo theater companies including Laredo Little Theater  with the production of Aladdin Jr.
Laredo Institute for Theatrical Education and Laredo Center for the Arts with the production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Most recently, BALL returned to the Lake Casa Blanca after five years to produce Shipwrecked! in collaboration with Texas Parks and Wildlife.

BALL members are dedicated and passionate about creating productions for our community as well as applying our knowledge to the art. Members of  BALL are also encouraged to become mentors to those working on the productions, by creating an educational experience to all participating. We are grateful for the dedication and devotion that these young Laredoans who leave to continue their education and return to share their knowledge, as well as provide guidance and inspiration to the next generation of artists in our community.
